I had a tea party with Ophelia. She wanted to tip over the sugar jar. The bow is nice.

having a chilean rose hair at a tea party should be standard, i love the bow!

This adorable little Tan jumping spider Platycryptus undatus was out hunting ants :)

Anonymous asked: Sl i saw the post about the harvestman arachnid vs an actual spider. So does that mean that, because they only have one body section, Daddy Long Legs are not spiders? (Im in Massachusetts by the way in case you don't know what a Daddy Long Legs is)

i do indeed know what a daddy- long legs is, but some people use that name for harvestmens (eastern US) and some people (like myself) call “cellar spiders” daddy-long legs. This is more common in areas that don’t have harvestmens (most of western US). So what you are referring to as a”Daddy-long legs” are actually harvestmens and yes they are not spiders they are Opiliones. But Cellar spiders (terms commonly used in eastern US) are Daddy-long legs which are spiders. Just to be clear here are some pictures :)

this is a daddy-long legs/ cellar spider (note the two body sections)

and this one is a harvestmen or for the east coast people a daddy-long legs. (note the single body segment)

i hope this is clear and understandable haha :) in areas that have both it’s not uncommon for people to use the term daddy-long legs for both of them which can be very confusing.
