I work in a warehouse and found this little lady in the pipe yard. Relocated her and her little bundles to some plant life behind a storage unit where they won’t be disturbed. I believe she’s a Parasteatoda tepidariorum (Southern NJ)
AS: yes that is precisely what she is :)

I found this outside my door. It sat in a corner though, so I could only take a picture of the abdomen. Is this an English Cross Spider too? I saw one of the submissions from earlier this week it looked pretty similar.
Thanks for an awesome blog <3
AS: Yes i would agree that it is an english cross spider, though many orb weavers look similar from the underside the shape of the abdomen and banned legs suggest cross spider :)

I recently acquired this Avicularia versicolor sling. I’m convinced it is the most charming tarantula baby on the planet. I’m completely smitten, naturally.
AS: ah the cuteness i can’t handle it, pink toes are so awesome

Not the best picture so apologies for that but it was hard to get a good pic because this little cutie is so incredibly small, found it sat on the top of a pile of clothes but I have no idea of what type of spider it is.
